Thom Browne’s debut into women’s wear today was incredibly cool, stylish, and strong. Not every other guy in a sweater vest and floods can make a cubical nun something young and appealing. The way he combines fabric and layers is something I think a lot of American sportswear designers could learn from.
I have many more thoughts on what else has been going on at Lincoln Center, and the Armory, and the NY Public Library, and every where else this week (which I will share later). But after watching this video, I just had to rant.
